So many things happening

Where to start, obviously living in a religious community with 5 sisters means Christmas is a big deal here… Even though most of our students are Buddhist, we still put on quite the party to celebrate the birth of our guiding light.

We put on a big show at our sister school which is much bigger than us and has a big stage. Firstly, there were a few blessing dances and then the Christmas play put on by our students and written by a lady from the US who volunteered in the past and lives here now. This year’s play was based on the movie “The best Christmas play ever”! I Can’t tell you how much our girls have been practicing and rehearsing for this. Every day before classes, after class, general rehearsal 1…2……3……it felt like it would never end …,but it did.
I helped “choreograph” a little cheerleader ponpon dance….and my perfect little dance partner and I did a fusion modern western dance while she did a Khmer eastern dance that we performed to Gotan Project, it was wonderful. So here are a few pics form our preparation and from the show.
